As a participant in OSU-administered Suzhou/Guangzhou Summer Programs, you are automatically enrolled in a supplemental insurance plan through HTH Worldwide Services.
You are required to maintain your primary insurance coverage while you are abroad. The supplemental insurance is provided as a part of program fees and is intended to supplement your primary health insurance.
Your HTH Worldwide supplemental health insurance is in effect for the duration of your Suzhou/Guangzhou Summer Programs ONLY. If you plan your personal travel before or after your programs, you need to check with your home institutions to see if your primary health insurance covers your medical care while overseas.
You will receive your supplemental insurance card prior to your departure with a summary of benefits. Please carry this insurance card with you at all times while you are overseas. Make sure you are sufficiently covered in case of any emergencies that may arise during your time in China.
